At iBoxLab, we build and scale digital products across multiple domains, and we need solid engineers who can hit the ground running. We are looking for a Software Engineer – Backend who writes clean code, takes ownership of their work, and contributes meaningfully to a fast-moving product team.
What You Will Work On
Build and maintain backend systems using Laravel & PHP
Develop and manage REST APIs for web and mobile applications
Design and deliver REST APIs consumed by web and mobile clients, coordinating contracts with frontend teams
Contribute to and enforce code quality standards through peer reviews and engineering best practices
Debug issues and improve system performance
Work with databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and optimize queries
Handle queues, jobs, and background tasks
Integrate third-party services (Payments, SMS, Email, etc.)
Participate in code reviews, stand-ups, and sprint planning
What We Expect
2-4+ years of experience with Laravel & PHP
Solid understanding of MVC architecture, REST API design principles, and service-layer patterns
Experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL and database design
Comfort using AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar) in your daily workflow
Ability to read and understand frontend code well enough to debug API integration issues independently
Experience working with APIs
Comfortable using Git for version control
Experience writing unit and feature tests in PHPUnit or Pest
Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn
Experience with OTA, flight, or hotel booking platforms is a Plus

Type: Full-time (On-site)
Schedule: 9 AM – 5 PM (Sunday to Thursday)
